Tooooly is built privacy-first. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you use the site.
Tools run in your browser
Almost every tool on Tooooly runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The text, files, images, passwords and other input you type are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers.
The few tools that use the network
A small number of tools need the network and say so on their page. The IP address tool reads the IP address your browser connects from in order to show it to you (it is not stored). The DNS lookup tool sends the domain name you enter to a public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver (Cloudflare or Google) to answer the query. No other personal data is sent.
Information we collect
We do not require an account and we never sell your data. Like virtually all websites, our hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare) may automatically record standard technical request logs — such as IP address, browser type and the page requested — for security, abuse-prevention and reliability. Your theme and favorites preferences are stored locally in your browser and are never sent to us.
Cookies, local storage & analytics
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage only to remember your preferences (such as dark mode and favorite tools). If we add website analytics, we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless solution that reports aggregate visit statistics only and does not identify you.
Affiliate links & disclosure
Some pages may contain affiliate links, which are clearly labelled "Sponsored" / "PR". If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link may set cookies controlled by that partner, governed by the partner's own privacy policy — not ours.
Third-party services
We rely on Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery, public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers (Cloudflare, Google) for the DNS tool, and — where present — affiliate partners and a cookieless analytics provider. Each third party processes data under its own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Tooooly is a general-audience utility site and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can clear the preferences we store at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. If you have any question about your data, contact us using the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
